~~Examinations and Your First Visit

When you make an appointment at McGunnigle Chiropractic you can expect to receive the most thorough and sensitive examination of your spine ever.  Why?  Well, would you ever expect to go to a doctor and not be examined? Chiropractors are working on the single most delicate tissue of your body. If its damaged, its damaged for life!  Our examination allows Dr. Jeff to deliver the best possible adjustment for the maximum improvement.
Some people come to us and they feel that they do not need an examination. "The problem just started a few days/weeks/months ago."   If you have a sore throat, earache, toothache, heart palpitations, you are going to get examined! Your spine is your lifeline. It directs EVERY single tissue, cell, muscle and organ in your body. Don't you think that that deserves special attention?  We have seen 16 year olds come into our office with significant degeneration. Examinations allow Dr. Jeff to detect genetic aberrations that have not been previously detected. Think Scoliosis, Degenerative Disc Disease and Degenerative Joint Disease that have not been  before addressed.
X-Rays are an important diagnostic tool. These direct Dr.Jeff the ability to deliver the safest, most effective adjustment to your spine in order to maximize your optimal health.  They are also an important tool to view any bone spurs or chips that you may have in your body.
X-Rays are not appropriate for pregnant women and small children.  Adjustments are customized to those categories
Your health and well being is our number one goal.  We look forward to meeting you and addressing your health concerns.
Have a blessed, healthy day,

The Team at McGunnigle Chiropractic
"Where we want to make your day better!"
